Niger Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello has backed the presidential aspiration of National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He spoke on Thursday when Tinubu visited him on a condolence visit over the spate of killings by bandits in Niger State.
The Governor said the transformation witnessed in Lagos were the result of Tinubu’s efforts, stating if the former Governor could transform Lagos, he would transform Nigeria too.
He said that he looked forward to seeing the kind of foundation laid by Tinubu in Lagos State, which led to the transformation of the commercial nerve of the nation.
God in His wisdom gave Asiwaju the wisdom to lay the foundation of Lagos state that you see today. Lagos is a country within a country and we saw the foundation you laid there, we are looking forward to seeing you replicate it for Nigeria tomorrow.
TINUBU DONATES N50m TO NIGER IDPs
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has donated N50m to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Niger State.
He made the donation on Thursday during a condolence visit to Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello over the spate of killings by bandits in Niger State.
Making the donation to the Governor at the Government House in Minna, Tinubu said that it was to help alleviate the suffering of the people who have been affected by the banditry attacks in the State.
He stated that the current government was doing its best in fighting banditry, adding that the incoming government would eliminate the bandits and terrorists and put an end to their activities.
