Remi Tinubu condoles with Akwa-Ibom Dep.Gov. over daughter’s death …expresses deep sorrow

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Blessing Eyakenyi Adewunmi, daughter of the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency Akon Eyakenyi.

In a condolence message, Senator Tinubu described Dr. Blessing’s demise as a painful and great loss, extending her heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved husband, parents, and entire family.

Quoting 1 Thessalonians 5:18, she encouraged the grieving family to find solace in the word of God: “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

She also referenced Job 1:21, affirming, “The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”

The First Lady prayed for divine strength and comfort for the Eyakenyi family during this difficult time, asking God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
