Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna and Oyo states have pledged their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, citing his visionary leadership, developmental strides, and the far-reaching impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In Kaduna State, APC leaders and supporters in Soba Local Government Area voiced their endorsement following a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held on Tuesday.

Led by the state Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ibrahim Hamza, the group also backed the re-election of Governor Uba Sani.

“We are very proud of what the governor is doing,” Hamza said. “Soba has never had it this good.

We’ve seen projects touch every corner of our community — from roads to water, security, and skill acquisition centres.”

Hamza also commended the governor’s inclusive approach, stating, “We are not just spectators. People from Soba have been appointed into meaningful positions. I’m a testimony of that inclusion.”

Highlighting infrastructure as a key achievement, Hamza added, “The Dingya–Turawa Road is a major lifeline. The General Hospital in Maigana and the new water project will serve over 1,500 households. This is real development.”

Chairman of Soba LGA, Mohammad Lawal-Shehu, described Governor Uba Sani as a “leader with vision and empathy,” noting his efforts in healthcare renovation and women’s financial inclusion.

Shehu also praised President Tinubu, saying, “With the way President Tinubu is handling the economy and security, we believe he deserves more time to fix Nigeria completely.”

In Oyo State, the APC stakeholders also rallied around Tinubu during their meeting at the party’s state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan.

The meeting was attended by State Executive Committee members and local government chairmen from all 33 councils.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Oyo State APC Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas, said: “President Tinubu has demonstrated courage, patriotism, and leadership. His vision is transforming Nigeria, and we believe he needs another term to complete what he has started.”

He added, “The recent wave of defections from opposition parties shows Nigerians are beginning to trust his Renewed Hope Agenda. We at Oyo APC cannot afford to lag behind. We are all in.”

Oyo State APC Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite, echoed his sentiments, saying: “Tinubu has what it takes to reposition Nigeria for greatness. We stand firmly behind him.”

Olawale Sadare, the Publicity Secretary, noted, “The country is regaining global respect under Tinubu. We are proud of our President and we are working to ensure he returns in 2027.”

Also speaking, Alhaja Tinuade Adigun, the State Woman Leader, emphasised women’s support: “Women across Oyo are seeing changes in business empowerment and health. We’ll mobilise every ward for Tinubu.”

In a show of grassroots solidarity, the state Youth Leader, John Aremu, said: “Young people are feeling the impact. From digital skills to jobs, Tinubu is speaking our language.”

In a related development, a delegation from The Peace Advocates, a prominent group of Oyo APC stalwarts, also visited the party secretariat to express support for Tinubu’s second-term bid.

Led by Dr. Akin Onigbinde (SAN), Chief Wale Ohu, and Prince Niran Olayoju, the group pledged to restore harmony within the party ahead of 2027.

“President Tinubu is doing a tough job with maturity and foresight,” Onigbinde said. “Our mission now is to unify the house so we can face the next election stronger.”

Chief Wale Ohu added, “We will visit all zones in Oyo to preach peace and reconciliation. A divided house cannot stand, and we cannot afford distractions.”
