Onitsha South stakeholders Rally Behind Governor Soludo’s Second Term Campaign

Anambra state Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo was greeted with a warm welcome in Onitsha South Local Government Area as residents came out in great numbers to display their support for his second-term bid. Governor Soludo was accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the number one citizen of Anambra state was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd happy and willing to endorse his re-election campaign.

Speaking to the residents ,Governor Soludo described his second-term pursuit as “a divine project and a mass movement.” He thanked the people for their unwavering support, saying, “This is a campaign like no other in our history. I am humbled and deeply appreciate your encouragement.”

The Governor highlighted key achievements of his administration, particularly in Onitsha South, citing the establishment of a specialist general hospital in Fegge and significant improvements in public schools. He assured residents that more developmental projects would follow if granted another term.

The event was filled with optimism as residents pledged continued backing for Soludo’s leadership. Community leaders and residents took turns to commend his administration’s impact.

Okwudili Nwankwo, President General of Fegge, appluaded the Governor’s “One Youth, Two Skills” initiative, noting that it had empowered many young people with practical skills. Another supporter, Chibuike Ugo, lauded the government’s free education, antenatal, and delivery programs, describing them as “lifelines for families.”

Franklin Onyeke expressed confidence in Soludo’s re-election, stating, “As we pray for victory on November 8, 2025, we believe he will continue to lead Anambra to greater heights.”

Supporters Okwudili Chiamaka and Celestine Osuji also pledged to mobilize voters to ensure the Governor’s victory, emphasizing collective resolve to sustain progress in the state.

A cheque donation of twenty million naira was presented during the event in support of Governor Soludo’s campaign.
