Tunji-Ojo, others to deliver papers at Triangle Magazine anniversary in UK
Triangle International Magazine has announced plans to mark its 10th anniversary with a landmark lecture and dinner scheduled for April 2, 2026.
To be held at the Great Hall, King’s College London (Strand Campus), the lecture will have the theme, “Harnessing the Role of Nigerians in the Diaspora for National Development.”
A Thursday statement noted that the anniversary event, which signals a major milestone for the publication, will bring together policymakers, academics, media professionals, and members of the Nigerian diaspora for a high-level conversation on national growth and global collaboration.
According to details released by the organisers, the anniversary celebration will feature a lineup of thought leaders drawn from government, academia, and the media.
The guest speaker and Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is expected to deliver the keynote address, setting the tone for discussions around diaspora engagement and its strategic importance to Nigeria’s development trajectory.
Also billed as special guest is Vice-Principal (International) and Professor of Security, Leadership and Development at King’s College London, Prof Funmi Olonisakin.
Her participation, the statement said, underscores the academic and global dimension of the event, which is being hosted at one of the United Kingdom’s leading institutions.
Other expected guests include the Group Managing Director of Sahara Group, Kola Adesina, described as a consummate entrepreneur with experience that traverses academia, insurance, finance, energy, trade, and diplomacy.
An artificial intelligence researcher in cybersecurity and information technology management, Prof Ojo Ademola, will also speak at the anniversary lecture, adding a technology and innovation perspective to the discourse.
The organisers said the programme would be enriched by a panel of dynamic discussants, while popular broadcast journalist, Seun Okinbaloye, will serve as moderator.
The event will be hosted by Femi Salako.
Described as more than a celebration, the statement said the anniversary gathering is positioned as a platform for reflection and forward-thinking dialogue.
