Actress Nimmy Ferrari dies after ‘fibroid surgery’
Nimota Adesanya, the Nigerian actress and social media influencer widely known as Nimmy Ferrari, has passed away.
Her passing was confirmed by fellow actress Kemisola Kemity Apesin in an Instagram post on Sunday.
“Everybody is back home; we left only you, IDERA Nimmyferrari. It is well,” Apesin wrote, indicating that the content creator had been left behind after friends and colleagues returned from what appeared to be a funeral gathering.
Tributes have since flooded the comment section. Colleagues Victoria Kolawole and Dada Tolani posted heart emojis, while Adeola Adewoyin urged Kemity to remain strong.
Actor Jigan Babaoja wrote, “May her soul rest peacefully,” and Biola Adekunle added, “It is well,” with a crying emoji.
As of the time of this report, the exact cause of death remains unconfirmed. However, unverified reports suggest she died from complications following surgery to remove fibroids.
Viral videos circulating online show family members carrying her remains for burial, which reportedly took place in the Sagamu area of Ogun state.
Nimmy Ferrari rose to prominence through her street-style vox pop interviews and collaborations with actors discussing their experiences in Nollywood. She was in her late 20s at the time of her death.
