It was through controversial circumstances that youthful Yahyah Bello became the number one citizen of Kogi State and what is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf is that the governor seems to have taken on the toga of controversies. His onslaught with equally controversial personality, Senator Dino Melaye has only made him more controversial.

Meanwhile, many are of the view his wife, Rahidat is more focused and purpose driven. The beautiful lady has since immersed herself deeply into service of humanity.

Rashidat had barely assumed office as the First lady of Kogi State that she swung into action with the launch of Kogi Women and Youthful Advancement Foundation, KOWYAF. KOWYAF is designed to assist women and youth in the state with resources that will make them become self-reliant and gainfully engaged.

The woman also extended her caring gesture by facilitating the equipping of health facilities in the senatorial districts of the state, just to mention a few of her exemplary gestures as the First Lady.

Meanwhile, her efforts are not going unnoticed as she’s being identified by different well-meaning individuals, not only in the state but around the country, as honour and recognition is continuously bestowed on her.
