The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has dumped the use of his luxury helicopter.

Adeboye reportedly sold off the helicopter for over-consuming and depleting the church funds.

An overview of the expenditure over the helicopter with registration mark 5NEAA which was purchased in September 2020, shows total cost of maintainance for a single month to be about $300,000 (N123 million). While the amanagers of the aircraft charged $50,000 (N20 million) monthly for Nav charges.

Problem with the helicopter arose in April when it was suspended from flying by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) over alleged expired documents and spare parts which needed to be replaced.

The wise man of God now uses one of the fleet belonging to Bishop David Oyedepo when the need arises.
