What many will easily tag the effect of absence of star player, Lionel Messi at Barcelona, from where he moved to PSG is what the La Liga side is going through.
Since the exit of Messi, Barcelona has not consistently had good outings as they have more or less struggled to keep up. The situation took a worse form yesterday, when the team was beaten 3-0 by German side, Bayern Munich in their first game at the group stage of the Eufa champions league. The trashing was found embarrassing.
Following the embarrassing outing, the club president, Laporte, who is equally embarrassed, has apologized on behalf of the team. The president, in a video confirmed he was as disappointed at the team just as the fans are. He however apologized on behalf of the team to the fans as he promised a solution will be provided to the problem at hand.
