ERELU DOSUNMU SETS PACE WITH 70TH BIRTHDAY, CELEBRATES WITH SONGS AND PRAISE

To different people, the number one noble woman in Lagos who bears the noble title of Erelu Kutu, Erelu Abiola Dosumu means various things. While she’s adored by some for her stylish nature, she’s a as source of excitement for others who appreciate her clout and influence. In all, the white color loving woman has proven to be a role model with her rare show of strength and consistency in all she does.  Baring all her achievements at heart, Erelu, without a doubt have equally been through her own share of tough times too. It is on record that in the very recent past, the rumor mill was agog with a couple of tales about her, alleging she was battling ill health as well as being financially down.

Having been there, seen and conquered, it is only a welcoming development that such a woman would roll out drums to celebrate a mile stone and attainment age of 70. Not minding the fact that she possesses all it takes to stage an ‘owambe’ party, instead, she decided to be creative and opt for a praise and thanksgiving outing without a denial of the societal coloration that is expected in a soiree at the instance of a society face of Erelu Dosumu’s standing. For an inspiring and exemplary being of Erelu, a Mass was held in her honor at the Victoria Island situated Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, after which the train moved to Tera Kulture Arena, also in Victoria Island, for the concluding part of the celebration, where a night of songs and praise was held.  The event was nothing short of one to write home about even as lot of important personalities ranging from the business world to the royal corridor and so were present at the event. Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, the Alake of Egba, Oba Saheed Elegunshi of Ikate land, Olorogun Sunny Kuku, bosom friends, Justice Oguntade and Alhaji Razak Okoya, former minister, Walter Ofonagoro, Senator Ita-Giwa were among lot of guests who were in the house to felicitate with the birthday girl.
