Farmer’s Body, FEBTEN, Launches Subsidised Agric Investment Scheme
Frontline farmers association in Nigeria, FEBTEN, has launched an agricultural investment project with the aim of rescuing people out of poverty and providing food for all.
The investment plan tagged Peculiar agricultural investment project is set to give 40% return on investment in 18months and also allow investors to buy food items from their food bank with a membership card that gives irresistible discounts.
The investment plans which are in different categories ranging from Platinum, silver, gold, emerald, red, pink and blue diamond are with 40% ROI after investing minimum of N54,000. The project which is anchored in Maize, Watermelon, Cassava and rice planting among others, will be sold to the general public across Nigeria and would also be available at the FEBTEN food bank which will be open on selected days of the week.
Speaking on the project, FEBTEN Farmers Association’s Chief Executive Officer, Adesewa Abiola Adelani disclosed that the project will benefit everyone as it will be source of investment for some, food bank to some and provide employment opportunities to many.
Mrs Adelani said “this plan is for everyone with low or high income. It’s projected that when you invest then you wait for 18months and get paid back with 40% return on investment. They are in categories which are, The Platinum which comes with 464.52 square meters of land where you invest just N54, 000 and get N75, 600 at the end of 18months, this comes with 40% ROI that amount to N21, 600 and a platinum membership club card that gives 1% discount on any food stuffs you buy from our food house. Also there is Silver package which comes with 1,392,56.52 square meters of land where you invest N162,000 and get N226,800 at the end of 18months,this comes with 40% ROI that amount to N64,800 and a silver membership club card that gives 1% discount on any food stuffs you buy from our food house. The Gold package comes with 2,787.12 square meters of land where you invest just N324, 000 and get N453, 600 at the end of 18months, this comes with 40% ROI that amount to N129, 600 and a gold membership club card that gives 1.5% discount on any food stuffs you buy from our food house”.

Then we have the diamond which are in 3 categories which are in red, pink and blue with N1, 620,000, N2, 430,000 and N3, 240,000 investment respectively. They all have 40% ROI and membership shopping card with various discounts.
