The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government.
The appointment came as the governor resumed work in his office few minutes after he was sworn in as the 7th democratically elected governor of the State.
This appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan on Monday.
Until his appointment as SSG, Dr. Fasoranti, who hails from Akure South local government area, was the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.
Also, Aiyedatiwa reappointed Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.
Also, the following individuals have been reappointed as Special Advisers to the Governor:
Also, the governor reappointed Engr. Johnson Alabi, as Special Adviser (Power), Dr. Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser (Women Affairs), Comrade Bola Taiwo as Special Adviser (Union Matters & Special Duties) and Prof Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser (Health).
The governor elevated the Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, to the position of Special Adviser, Infrastructure, Lands and Housing.
According to the statement, all the appointments take immediate effect.
Aiyedatiwa urged the new appointees to hit the ground running in providing effective and efficient services to the people of Ondo State.
