Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski will be joining Barcelona from Bayern at the end of the season, multiple reports said.
Fabrizio Romano said Bayern still want him to stay, but have not received any communications from the star striker.
“Barça are in contact with his agent, Lewandowski asks for a three year deal – but nothing has been agreed yet”.
But another report said Barcelona coach, Xavi has spoken to Lewandowski to explain the project and convince him.
“The player has given the green light”.
The Daily Mail reported that Lewandowski has informed Bayern Munich that he won’t sign a new contract with the club and has agreed terms with Barcelona.
The striker’s current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2023 and he has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks.
Polish television channel TVP Sport have reported that the 33-year-old has told the club’s CEO and legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn that he plans to leave the club and has agreed personal terms with Barcelona.
If Lewandowski were to make the move, it’s said that he would become the first Polish player to ever represent Barcelona, Daily Mail said
