Obi admits uncertainty over ADC presidential ticket for 2027
Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has revealed that he is not certain of securing the 2027 presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Speaking in a message to supporters, Obi said he cannot guarantee the party’s ticket but remains committed to his political mission and vision for Nigeria.
The former Labour Party candidate noted that politics, especially within opposition parties, comes with uncertainties, stressing that what matters most is staying focused on the broader goal of national development.
Obi, who joined the ADC in late 2025, also appreciated his supporters for standing by him despite challenges, acknowledging that opposition politics in Nigeria is not an easy path.
