There was a tension this morning in Akure, the Ondo State capital when a pot of ‘sacrificial spiritual offering’ was found at the main gate of the State Speaker’s lodge.
It was gathered that some residents who passed through the area, said the sacrifice may not be unconnected with the recent impeachment plot against the State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Report says nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident, but the situation created confusion and fear among those concerned.
