Words will not be sufficient to express the profound and deep sorrow that I feel for the passing away of an elder stateswoman, Mama Mosekola Mimiko, the mother of the Ex-Governor, Olusegun Mimiko. The death of Mama Mosekola Mimiko is like extracting an irreplaceable jewel from our treasury, tying a leaden lump around its neck and dropping it in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Mama Mosekola Mimiko’s life provides an abiding lessons that are difficult to count and impossible to pigeon-hole. She loved her children and everyone connected to her till she breathed her very last.
More importantly Mama would be remembered for her prayerful life, piety and devotion to the faith.
Although her death remains a monumental loss to Ondo State and the Nation at large, it is not however a time for us to mourn but a time for reflections and for the new generation to build on the legacy that she left behind. The indelible mark mama has left in our lives would remain indeciduous.
May Her Soul rest in peace!
