PHOTO: Sanwo-Olu marks 59th birthday with special needs children

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu marked his 59th birthday with children from special needs school in Lagos Tuesday evening.

The small event put together by his wife, Ibijoke according to government house sources in Lagos had in attendance close aides and friends.

The Governor in social media post described the evening with the children as memorable.

He wrote:

“The most memorable part of my birthday today was celebrating with the special needs children from various schools in Lagos, including Lagos State Model College, Agbowa (Inclusive Unit); Ereko Methodist Primary School ISU; RCM Ayeteju, Ibeju-Lekki; Ado Inclusive Unit; Amosun Inclusive Unit, Agege; Atunda-Olu Special School; New Oko-Oba Primary School Inclusive Unit; Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Home, Akoka; Maryland Primary and Inclusive School; Wesley School for the Hearing Impaired; Lagos State Special School, Igbobi; St. Joseph Inclusive School, Elegbata; and Olisa Primary School Inclusive Unit.

“Witnessing the joy and laughter of these amazing children served as a powerful reminder of the significance of inclusivity and support within our community. It is crucial that we continue to ensure every child, regardless of their abilities, is given the chance to thrive and succeed.

“Let us all pledge to create a Lagos where everyone is respected and included. Together, we can work towards a brighter future for all our children.

“Thank you for contributing to an unforgettable birthday experience.”
