Photos: Tinubu returns to Abuja after visit to Qatar

President Bola Tinubu on Monday arrived the nation’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja after his two-day visit to Qatar.

The presidential jet, NAF 001, that conveyed the President landed at the Airport around 7pm.

The president was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Also present to receive him are the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje; and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi.

The president had left the shore of the country on 29 February, 2024 to Qatar.

The visit was aimed to strengthen ties between Nigeria and Qatar across various sectors, including engagements in a business and investment forum, that sought to explore cross-sectoral opportunities for mutually beneficial growth and development as well as signing of agreements focusing on enhancing Nigeria’s real sector and fostering value-additive investments.

he visit also witnessed the signing of several agreements focused on boosting Nigeria’s real sector and creating value-additive investments across the fields of trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, and gas, as well as fostering cooperation on counter-terrorism
