RIOPOP Quran competition holds second edition, slates grand-finale for 2025

In the bid to give back to society in a unique way, Riopop Sweet, is set to hold the second edition of its laudable initiative that is known as Riopop Quran Competition.

Riopop Quran Competition, an initiative geared towards engaging the children in a godly way as well as assisting members of the public, is designed to see children from various Quranic learning centers showcase their knowledge of the Quran, and the winners are appreciated with cash prizes. While the winner goes home with the sum of N200.000, the 2nd and 3rd positions receive N150.000 N100.000 respectively.

The celebrated competition that holds on a monthly basis is designed to have the grand finale of the first season held in March, 2025 during the annual Ramadan period. All the children that came first in all the editions of the first season will be made to slug it out with themselves at the grand finale, where the winner will receive a scholarship that will run to the university level as the star prize.

According to the organizers of this laudable initiative, the idea was deemed important out of a necessity to give back to society and to help the people at a time like this when the nation’s economy is not friendly, and it was concluded the best way to do it was through their customers who are children. It was further said the company found it more suitable to route these benefits through children who are the major buyers of Ripop Sweet rather than line up celebrities and social media influencers and splash money on them at the detriment of the section of society that is responsible for the sustainability of the product through their patronage.
