Senior Jurists Laud Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Leadership in Building State-of-the-Art Judicial Village
Judicial officers, senior lawyers, and other legal professionals in Ondo State have praised Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his visionary leadership in undertaking the construction of a groundbreaking judicial complex in the state.
The new “Ondo State Judicial Village” will be a comprehensive, one-stop facility that will house numerous critical components of the justice system, including:
– Multiple high courts
– A centralized registry for storing court records and documents
– A legal aid office to provide free legal services to those in need
– A mediation center for alternative dispute resolution
– Chambers and offices for lawyers
– Court support services like transcription
– A ceremonial court for special judicial events
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to strengthening the justice system and improving access to justice for the people of Ondo State,” one of the serving jJudges in the State judiciary stated.
“This state-of-the-art judicial complex will be a game-changer, consolidating our judicial resources and services in one efficient, modern hub.” Another staff stated.
Adeola Adedipe, SAN also lauded the leadership of Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and other members of the state executive council. He expressed confidence that the complex will be completed in record time given the premium attention being placed on enhancing the justice delivery system in the state.
“The Ondo State Judicial Village will be a true testament to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision for a more accessible, efficient, and technology-driven justice system,” said the State Attorney General when he and his colleagues, Akinwunmi Sowore, Land & Housing Commissioner, Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye (Youth & Sport Development) and Pastor Ayoade Joseph Babalola (Special Adviser on Infrastructure) announced the news of the State Government approval of the construction of the Judicial Village.
Construction on the Ondo State Judicial Village is expected to commence in the coming months, with the goal of creating a world-class judicial complex that will serve as a model for the rest of the country.
