Although, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has not made any statement to formally indicate his interest to run for the presidency come 2023, but speculation and rumor are rife that the former governor of Lagos state is interested in taking over the mantle of leadership from the incumbent, President Mohammadu Buhari, when his tenure finally elapses in about one year and some months.

Meanwhile, actions of many of his loyalists are giving validation to the rumor that Asiwaju is most likely to throw his hart into the ring to vie for in the presidential election in 2023.

On that premise, many who have trust in Tinubu’s ability to transform the country if he becomes the president, had since started forming support groups to back the said ambition of Tinubu.

Some of them are Bola Ahmed Admirers’ Movement, BATAM, Tinubu Support Organization, TSO, Bola Tinubu Support Group, TSG, Students’ Support Group for Tinubu , SSGT, Bola Tinubu Support Group, BTSG.

A new group that is also basically about supporting Tinubu’s ambition, Bola Tinubu Support Initiative, BTSI, has also berthed to join forces with others to drive  a common goal with others.  While BTSI is programmed to have its base in the United Kingdom, its operations are penciled to be more visible in Nigeria. Also, arrangements are in top gear to formally inaugurate the initiative in Lagos.

The national Co-ordinator, Prince Adeniyi Ayibiowu, who is presently in the United Kingdom in a chat said, Bola Tinubu Support Initiative was founded to mobilize support towards achieving a Tinubu presidency as many Nigerians are hopeful in the leadership of Bola Tinibu.

He added the group was also founded to promote the ideologies and mentorship of Bola Ahmed Tinubu leadership qualities. He also said the activities of the group will not be limited to the pre-election events but will still be active at post-election time to serve as a guide to the administration.
