The Director General of Tinubu Support Group, Hon. Aminu Suliaman has said the group will take Bola Ahmed Tinubu to court, if he refuses to run for presidency in 2023.

Aminu made this revelation during a press conference that recently held in Lagos.

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the advocacy group, Tinubu support organization (TSO) also urged Nigerians to rally behind the candidacy of former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying Asiwaju is tested and can be trusted with the number one political office in the country as he has raised many dedicated political leaders in the country.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a very good man who is not tribalistic. At a time, an Igbo man was the finance Commissioner in Lagos state and even now, the Commissioner for Water Front is from the north. That is the kind of leader we need. Even in the Buhari government, a number of people there passed through Asiwaju. Starting from the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, he was the Commissioner for Justice under Tinubu. The Minister for Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and the Minister for Works, Babatunde Fashola and even the Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, they all passed through him, so this is one of the reasons we need a man like Tinubu”, Suleiman said.

Furthermore, Sulaiman said Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) will sensitize Nigerians what Tinubu represents, saying that with Tinubu as the president, the country has a better future.

Expanding on what TSO stands for, Aminu said “TSO is aimed at supporting the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria. It is the first group to identify with the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu because we believe Asiwaju will use his wide range of experience to serve Nigerians’.

Also, The Chief of Staff to the Director General, Mr Abdulghaniyy Adekunle Kareem also spoke on the expansion of TSO.

“A lot of groups have been collapsing the structure of their groups into Tinubu Support Organisation. Last months, we had about ten groups in Kano that collapsed their structures into this. The group is being embraced everywhere. Go to Adamwa, they collapsing their structures into it, go to Bauch, even in Kwara, they have been coming in and we accepted them because we are one Nigeria. Like the DG said, TSO is opened to everybody.

Mrs  Dele Fatusin, the South West coordinator of the group, in her words said checking the program going in the north, people appreciate  how far the group has gone. She prayed the group receives the same acceptance in the South West and South East

In the same vein, Hajia Ralia Abdusalam,   Deputy Coordinator of the Women Wing expressed confidence in Tinubu’s exemplary leadership.  “He’s not a leader that is not sectional. If you look at his cabinet when he was governor, he picked people from different states to hold positions. Which state in Nigeria today can bring somebody from outside to be a Commissioner in their state? Tinubu did that. He knows how to make amends when there is need and he’s not greedy for power. He has supported people from the north for presidency and even from the South.  He’s just not greedy for power. He was governor and he didn’t run for the senate like most governors do when they leave governorship, instead, he built people that are still in power today and doing their best.  And then, he’s sympathetic towards the women course. He supports women every time.

The Director General, Aminu, being confident of the capacity of his principal to transform the nation, when asked what happens if Tinubu decides not to run for presidency come 2023, the D.G gave a striking response.  “We will take him to court. We told him already that he must contest and anything otherwise, we take him to court. We can’t have someone like him and he will not contest”, Aminu responded.
