2Face clears confusion, releases video to confirms separation from Annie

2Face, also known as 2Baba, has released a video confirming that his earlier announcement of separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, was indeed genuine and not a result of his Instagram account being hacked.

The drama began on Sunday when a statement was posted on 2Face’s Instagram account, revealing that he and Annie had been separated for a while and had filed for divorce.

The statement read, in part: “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now, and currently filed for divorce… I would grant a press release soon to say my story.”

However, mere minutes later, the statement was deleted, and a new post surfaced, claiming that 2Face’s account had been hacked.

The post read: “My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control #onelove!”

But in a recent video, 2Face has set the record straight, confirming that he was indeed the one who made the initial announcement. In his characteristic calm tone, he stated: “No body hacked my account, na me talk wetin I won talk” (“Nobody hacked my account, I said what I said”).

 

The video has sparked a flurry of reactions, with many fans expressing shock, disappointment, and even outrage.

Others, however, have speculated that 2Face’s latest move might be a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming music project.
