Abiodun: Ogun APC Secretariat Set for November Commissioning

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), an ultra-modern facility in Abeokuta, will be commissioned in November.

Abiodun disclosed this while conducting an on-the-spot inspection of the imposing edifice located along Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, where he expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work.

The governor said the project, whose groundbreaking ceremony took place less than a year ago, was nearing completion and would provide the party with a befitting permanent administrative base in the state.

“We were here for the groundbreaking ceremony less than a year ago, and I must say that I am impressed with what I am seeing. I am happy with the location and the level of completion. I am sure that within another week or so, this should have been completely rounded off,” he said.

The facility features a conference and banquet hall with a seating capacity of more than 500 people, offices for party officials and members, and adequate parking space.

Abiodun described the project as a significant milestone for the APC in Ogun State, particularly as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Highlighting the prominence of the structure, the governor said its imposing appearance and strategic location would make it a landmark for the party.

“Even just driving past our office itself, you begin to feel a sense of defeat if you are not in our party,” he said.

The new secretariat will replace the rented premises previously used by the Ogun APC in Abeokuta, providing a permanent facility for the party’s administration, meetings and other activities.
