Again, Sen. Yayi donates, installs another 500KVA transformer in Ago-Iwoye

In continuation of his commitment to improving power supply and enhancing community development across Ogun State, the Senator representing Ogun West, Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriations, and Governorship Candidate of the APC in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI CON, FCA, has donated and installed another 500KVA transformer in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North Local Government.

The new transformer was installed on Tuesday 9th September, 2026, at the Late Senator Jubril Martins Kuye Area, Isamuro Quarters, Ward 09, Ago-Iwoye, bringing relief to residents who have endured months of power outage.

This latest intervention comes just months after Senator Yayi donated a 500KVA transformer to Koroko Oke-Odo Konigba Community, Igan Quarter, Ago-Iwoye, which had been without electricity for nearly three years.

The installation was facilitated by a political protege of Senator Yayi, Prince Fatai Adesegun, popularly called Authentic following a passionate appeal by Hon. Fausat Paul, Councillor representing Ward 10, Ijebu North Local Government.

The installation event witnessed the presence of notable leaders and stakeholders including Hon. Prince Segun Kaka (PSK), APC candidate for Ijebu North II (Ifelodun) State Constituency; Hon. Odusanya Abolaji, Executive Chairman, Ijebu North Local Government; Prince Akin Onalaja, Convener, Yayi Mandate Group; Alhaji Akeem Arikewuyo, Coordinator, Yayi Caucus 7202, Ijebu North II; Alhaji Sesan Araba, APC Chairman, Ward 09; Prince Adesegun Motilade; Prince Adeoye Wasiu; local government officials, party leaders, and community leaders.

Speaking at the installation, community leaders expressed profound appreciation to Senator Yayi, describing him as a true representative whose impact continues to cut across senatorial boundaries. They noted that the intervention will not only restore power but also boost small businesses and improve the quality of life in the area.

Once again, Senator Yayi has demonstrated that quality leadership is about people, impact and responsive intervention.
