Agboyi Lo Kan: Prince Ibrahim Kehinde Oladega, The Island’s Hope

For 21 years since the creation of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, the determined and vibrant people of Agboyi Island have patiently awaited their turn in leadership. Despite making up two federal wards out of the three and a half wards in the LCDA, the island has yet to produce a chairman, vice chairman, or SLG. With 2025 fast approaching, hope is rekindled through the emergence of Prince Ibrahim Kehinde Oladega, a visionary leader set to transform this narrative.

Prince Oladega stands out as the most qualified, experienced, and loyal candidate for leadership. As a member of the Ad-hoc Screening Committee for the APC Presidential Primary in 2022 and a key member of the Presidential Campaign Council, he has consistently exemplified dedication and excellence in governance.

His service on Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s publicity committees during both terms underscores his commitment to progressive leadership. Moreover, his role as Special Adviser to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, on Political Matters in the South-West further showcases his strategic acumen and grassroots engagement.

As a devoted advocate for community development, Prince Oladega founded the Agboyi Asiwaju Support Group, amplifying voices for equitable growth. His leadership resonates deeply with the aspirations of Agboyi Island’s citizens.

Through the Akoud Foundation, Prince Oladega has fostered hope and unity. Notably, his remarkable ability to facilitate people-oriented projects, even without holding an official position, distinguishes him. His 2016 renovation of Agboyi Primary School, achieved through his club’s partnership with international organizations, remains a shining example of his impactful contributions.

The people of Agboyi Island are ready for history to be made. With “Agboyi Lo Kan” as the anthem for change, Prince Oladega embodies the promise of equitable governance. Together, let us embrace his vision for a brighter future. E je ka jo se – The prince is coming!
