AHBEA formally announces mournful demise of Oba Yisa Olaniyan (paramount ruler of Ipokia kingdom)
With profound heavy heart, we, the entire members of Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Awards, ( AHBEA ) announce the transition to glory of our President and Royal Father: HRM Oba Dr Yisa Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan ( The Paramount Ruler of Ipokia Kingdom )
and CEO, Afro Heritage Entertainment Company, USA.
Kabiyesi joined his ancestors on the 27th of June, 2026.
Though saddened by this irreplaceable loss and sudden demise of a great man, we find solace in a legacy defined by excellence in leadership, compassion, selflessness, generosity, kindness, and unwavering service to people, his home town and the entertainment industry.
HRM Oba Yisa Sola Olaniyan was a rare gem. His wisdom, doggedness, grace, and royal presence everywhere he goes to will be deeply missed.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the entire Ipokia Kingdom, the Royal Family, and all who mourn this monumental loss.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
