#Anambra Decides: Soludo extends lead as more results trickle in

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, governorship candidate in Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo has extended lead as more results trickled in from the polling units.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Andy Uba; the Young Peoples Party, YPP, Ifeanyi Ubah and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Valentine Ozigbo are seriously trailing behind.

As at 12:05am, 4,144 results from the 5720 polling units in the state have been uploaded in the result portal website of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

In Nnewi South, Amichi Ward I, Ebenator Okpala Hall II, APGA polled nine votes, with APC, seven votes and PDP, with 13 votes, while the YPP won the unit with 47 votes.

But APGA won in Eziama Central School I polling unit with 24 votes to beat PDP with 10 votes, YPP, 8 votes and APC, 2 votes.

In Eziama Central School III polling unit, APGA won with 20votes, PDP, 13 votes, YPP, 5votes while APC had no vote.

In Community Central School II, PDP won with 19 votes, APGA coming second with 17 votes and YPP, 9 votes, while APC got only two votes.

Likewise, in Community Central School III, PDP won with 29 votrs, APGA, 16 votes and YPP, 9 votes, while APC recorded no vote.

In Anaocha Local Government, Ward 10: Agulu IV, APGA polled 344 votes to defeat APC, which polled 99 votes.

But APC won ward 9, Agulu III with 287 votes as against 251 votes polled by APGA.

In Oyi LG, Nteje Ward 3, Polling Unit 002, APGA won with 36 votes, PDP next with 15 votes, YPP, 14 votes and APC, 7 votes.

In Nteje Ward 3, Polling Unit 003, APGA polled 51 votes to emerge winner, with APC coming second with 20votes, YPP, 13 votes and PDP, 10 votes.
