APC Aspirant, Wasiu Elemoro, Calls for Reconciliation and Party Unity in Lagos APC

APC House of Assembly aspirant for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I, Prince Wasiu Akorede Elemoro (EWA), has appealed to the leadership of the party in Lagos State to prioritize reconciliation, inclusiveness and internal democracy in addressing concerns raised by aggrieved aspirants.

In an open letter addressed to the Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Elemoro expressed concern over growing dissatisfaction among some aspirants and cautioned against measures that could be perceived as suppressing dissent. He emphasized that the strength of the APC lies in its ability to resolve disputes through dialogue, fairness and justice.

The aspirant urged the party leadership to engage stakeholders, investigate complaints and implement confidence-building measures that would foster unity ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to him, a united APC remains the surest path to electoral success, while unresolved grievances could weaken the party’s structure and cohesion.
