Charles Emeka Oputa, better known as Charly boy, is one man who is known to be a man of many parts, but in the recent time, the ageless weird one has been committed into channeling his energy into how the country can move forward and be a better place. Area fada, as the Mass Communication of American University is called, took time off his Ourmumudondo campaign to attend to important and worthy family call.
Charles Oputa and his American wife , Lady Diana penultimate Saturday, played host to guests who were in attendance to celebrate with them when they gave the hand of their daughter, Adaeze , in marriage to Metu Anu. The couple tied the knot at a traditional wedding held at the bride father’s home, situated on Charly Boy Boulevard in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
The bride, who is the first daughter and second child of her parents, works with a non-profit as associate director of programmes. The marriage rites were followed by a grand reception at the popular Evelyn Event Centre, which hosted celebrities within and outside the entertainment Industry.
The marriage reception which was compered by duo of Nollywood’s finest, Nkem Owoh and Francis Duru, had government functionaries and heads of organizations, including a former minister of education, Oby Ezekwesili in attendance.
