CONSTITUENTS COMMEND EKITI COUNCILLOR-ELECT FOR HOLDING CHRISTMAS FUNFAIR FOR KIDS

Residents and stakeholders of Ekamarun Ward of Ekiti state have commended their newly-elected Councillor, *Hon. (Mrs) Oluwaseun Oluwaseyi Adeosun* for holding an elaborate Christmas Funfair party for children in the ward.

 

In what could be described as first of its kind in the history of Ekamarun Ward, the Councillor-elect, Hon (Mrs) Oluwaseyi Adeosun, has organized a “Father Christmas Children party” today December 23, at Oke-oro Ekiti.

 

The event drew children from Ilukuno, Temidire, Ayegunle,Iroko and Oke-oro,the host community. The children were overwhelmed with joy as they had unlimited fun and were fed to their satisfaction.

 

Hon Adeosun while speaking, said the event was organised to show love,share gifts and put smiles on the faces of the children.

 

She described children as Heritage of God, hence the need to celebrate them,not only at Christmas but always. She further said “with God on my side, I will be making it an annual event.

 

Speaking at the event, an APC Chieftain, Chief Adebayo Eyeowa commended the Councillor-elect for organizing the event which he described as an unprecedented. He said this is the first time such an event is happening since the creation of the Ward,over 30 years ago and prayed that Almighty God will continue to elevate the status of the Councillor.

 

Aslo speaking,the Eyero of Oke-oro, Chief (Mrs) Grace Agboola, lauded Hon Adeosun for making the children of the Ward happy, prayed for God’s continue support and guidance upon her life

 

The husband of the Councillor-elect, Mr Adeyinka Eyeowa also spiced up the event by distributing gifts to the winners of various fun games.

 

In his fatherly message, the Kabiyesi of Oke-oro, the host community, His Royal Majesty, Oba Alaiyeluwa Alexander Aina, who made his beautiful premises available for the celebration, also commended the Councillor-elect for deeming it fit to celebrate with the children of the ward. Kabiyesi prayed for her success in the journey ahead.

 

It was indeed a good beginning for the newly-elected and vibrant female Councillor who has promised to provide qualitative representation at all times.
