Wife of popular retired Army Chief, General Theophilus Danjuma, a former member of the upper chambers of the National Assembly, Senator Daisy is sure one of the highly placed individuals whose personalities has made the social scene very thick, but despite her involvement with the social circle, she’s been able to comport herself very much that there are no controversies about her. Meanwhile, light skinned Diasy has an edge over many of her peers which in a way have made her a toast. It is no other but her ravishing beauty, nice frames and looks that absolutely bellies her age. It’s also worthy of note that fashion statement of the Executive Vice Chairman of South Atlantic Petroleum, Danjuma, only gives her away as one who is still in tune with modern trends.
Lawyer turn politician, Daisy recently added another year to become sixty five years of age, and as it is known she is the apple of her husband’s eyes, the hubby staged a befitting gig for the wife in Lagos. And as expected of a bash at instance of the Danjumas, their influence all around came to the bare as lot of important personalities made a it a duty to honor them with their presence. Among those who were in the house were former minister, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Senator Ita-Giwa, Billionaire oil mogul, Femi Otedola, Tunde Ayeni, Oba Otudedeko, Tony Elumelu to mention a few. Looking resplendent in her attire, the birthday girl took the gig to its crescendo when she took to the dance floor with her husband where they danced and engaged in show of love to the admiration of the guests.
Danjuma, a Law graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, began her career as a state counsel in Lagos State Ministry of Justice (Department of Public Prosecutions). She was a pioneer legal counsel to the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria before working for the investment bank, Nigerian Acceptances Ltd. (NAL). She spent the next decade as company secretary/legal adviser to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) before moving into private practice. She is a former chairman of SAPETRO. In 2003, she was elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where she served on numerous committees, most notably as Chairman of the ECOWAS Parliament’s Women and Children’s Rights Committee and Senate Committee Chairman on Women Affairs and Youth Development.
She is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA), among others.
