Egbe Omo Ogun rere, a socio-cultural group, existing to champion the social and cultural endowment of Ogun State through her members’ activities, yesterday December 11, met in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, to discuss ways to deepens the group’s programmes and activities ahead of the new Year in 2025.
In a statement issued by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Omooba Segun Adewale, who stated that EOOR Executive Council meeting held in order to plan ahead of year 2025 and beyond.
He further said that Council discussed various sundry matters relating to the usual end of year reach out to the less privilege within Ogun State, inauguration of new members into the group come 2025, as well as meeting other objectives set for the group.
“EOOR has been instrumental to the socio-cultural development of her members over the years, and it is expected that the group continue to plan, strategize and re-strategize in order to lift up to expectation and meet the group’s objectives” Adewale said.
The Council meeting was attended by EOOR’s Chairperson, Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni, the BOT Chairman, Engr. Nathaniel Sodipo (Uncle Nath), EOOR’s Vice Chairman, Asojuoba Micheal Adesanya, EOOR’s Publicity Secretary, Omooba Segun Adewale, and Olootu Oye Oduguwa.
The Egbe Omo Ogun Rere group prouds of eminent sons and daughters of Ogun State like Dr. Isiah Salako, who is the current Minister of State for Health in Nigeria, Hon. Dr. Jelili Kayode Amusan (JKA), The National President, Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria, Prince Femi Fadina, Hon. Dr. Soleye, EOOR’ s BOT member, Barr. Biyi Otegbeye, Dr. Aderemi Bello, Chief Kehinde Oladehinde, Otunba Yomi Odunowo, Hon Bayo Adeyemi, Chief Olufemi Adebowale, newly admitted member and a real estate investor in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, amongst others.
