The Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche, has got tongues wagging with the release of the video for his song titled, ‘Elee’.

The video, which is directed by Dunny Drill, captures Enenche donning a regal navy blue attire reminiscent of the Kings of England or the Dutch royalty, while his wife, Becky, complimented him in a blue gown.

The music video begins with a grand entrance by the Enenches out of a red vintage car to a supposed carnival, singing about the importance of praising God.

According to the description of the song, it is a blend of traditional beauty with the rhythmic beats of Amapiano, creating a harmonious and uplifting musical experience, and also highlighting themes of hope and faith, through visual storytelling.

The song is taken of Enenche’s recently released acoustic album titled, ‘In His Presence’.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Enenche said on Instagram, “In my native tongue, the word ‘Elee’ is used when something happens that is beyond words. It is an exclamation of surprise, excitement or jubilation.”

However, the song and its video has attracted mixed reactions.

ini_whyt wrote, “I am in love with this Bridgerton concept. The gospel to the world. Well done, daddy and mummy.”

Toklins wrote, “He’s giving afrobeats a run for their money.”

Ufuomaidebe stated, “The productivity of Dr Paul Enenche should be studied, because how is he able to do everything and be everywhere, release songs, and even do video? I am impressed.”
