That the leader of the Pan Socio-Political grout, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo and national leader of All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, are like two parallel lines, is no longer a news.
Adebanjo is known to be a serious critic of Asiwaju and he never allows any opportunity to hit at him, slip by.
Meanwhile, Asiwaju some months ago showed up at the Lekki home of the Afenifere leader.
In a rather surprising way, on Tuesday, 19th October, Pa Adebanjo led the delegation of Afenifere group on a courtesy visit to the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The visit was perceived to be one of goodwill message to Tinubu.
Although, it was a surprising one but pleasant, however. That is because of the meaning many are beginning to give to the visit.
At a time the whole place is awashed with the yet to be declared presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu towards 2023, the visit, many feel is a subtle way for Afenifere to bury all differences with Asiwaju and give him a backing, even as the immediate past leader of the group, Pa Fashoranti, had given his blessing to the said presidential ambition of Tinubu during a visit of a frontline Asiwaju support.group to the old man in Akure.
