Gov. Abiodun Mourns Death Of Former Ogun Commissioner Falilu Adebisi Sabitu
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has expressed sadness over the demise of a prominent and grassroots politician in the state, Hon. Falilu Adebisi Sabitu.
Hon. Sabitu reportedly died on Tuesday. He served as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee and was the chairman of the Ogun State Agro Service Cooperation.
He was also the Commissioner of Forestry and Rural Development in the previous administration.
Governor Abiodun described the late politician as a formidable force in the politics of Ogun State, especially in his constituency of Ogun Waterside and a dedicated and strong member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor noted that the late Sabitu’s unwavering commitment to his constituents earned him immense respect and admiration across political divides.
“Today, we mourn the loss of a distinguished politician, a servant leader, and a strong member of our party,” Governor Abiodun said.
The governor extended his condolences to Hon. Sabitu’s family and urged them to take solace in the fact that his impact touched countless lives.
Governor Abiodun also commiserated with APC members and the people of Ogun Waterside Local Government on the loss.
