Following the appointment of Prince Oladega Kehinde Ibrahim as the Senior Special Assistant on Political Mobilization & Strategy to the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, sons and daughters of Agboyi-Ketu, where he hails, recently received him in an elaborate reception at the Iga Agboyi (the palace).
The Olu of Agboyi, Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, played the chief host at the event.
Aside from sons and daughters of the town who came out in the numbers to celebrate their iconic son, important personalities from different places were also on hand to identify with the man of the moment. Some of them include Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency; Hon. Femi Saheed, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 11; Akeem Bamgbola, Chairman of the State Local Government Service Commission and member of the Board of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Folashade Olabanji-Oba. Also in attendance was Senior Special Assistant on Housing to governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hon. Ayodeji Ejalonibu, Oba Taiwo Lamina Adesegun, the Oloruba of Oruba, Baales and Agboyi white cap chiefs.
Agboyi-born Prince Oladega Ibrahim is a personality of many parts who creates a great impression and makes enviable statements at every land he’s walked.
In his usual manner, his involvement in partisan politics in a spate of a couple of years has reflected that he’s a personality who has a lot of positive energy to offer, as he’s made humble contributions that speak for him in the All Progressive Congress, APC.
With utmost dedication and faithfulness, the dynamic broadcaster-turned-politician, Ibrahim, has over time carried out party assignments even as his charismatic nature also sets him aside just as it endears people to him easily.
By being conscious of the fact that the party is supreme, his loyalty to the party and leaders has never dwindled even when party decisions are not favorable to him as he continues to give his best. Perhaps all these paid off when the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, considered him for a state assignment by appointing him as Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Political Mobilization & Strategy.
