LP’s gov candidate in Adamawa dumps Peter Obi for Tinubu

The Governorship candidate of Labour Party in Adamawa State, Umar Mustapha has dumped the party’s  presidential candidate, Peter Obi for the APC’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Speaking in Yola on Thursday, Mustapha said he remained the governorship candidate of Labour Party, but that his structure is for Tinubu.

According to him, the decision was reached after extensive consultation.

In his words: “I remain the Labour Party governorship candidate in Adamawa State, but for the presidential election, my structure is for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.

“After extensive discussion and consultations, we decided to collapse our entire structure into the APC structure for the presidential election.”

This is coming the same day 36 chairmen of the Labour Party passed vote of no confidence on the presidential ambition Obi.

They said the Labour Party’s presidential candidate would not win this weekend’s presidential election
