The last may not have been heard over the friction between popular chairman of Lagos State Parks & Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo and his estranged pal in the person of controversial actress and mother of two, Iyabo Ojo, as there are expectations that Oluomo’s response to Iyabo’s wishes on the former’s birthday is not likely to go down well with the latter, and as such, might issue a response. Justnews.ng reports.
Iyabo, it will be recall fired a salvo at well- loved and generous Musiliu over differences in their choices of presidential candidates in the concluded presidential election in which APC flag bearer, Bola Tinubu won. While Iyabo supported Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, thereby qualified to be call an ‘Obidient’, Akinsanya is known to be a loyal disciple of Bola Tinubu and as such becomes a BATist, as Tinubu’s followers are called.
After the salvo from Iyabo, some in the movie industry who claimed to be aware of how much Iyabo benefitted from MC while they were allegedly having an affair, frowned at Iyabo’s disposition towards MC. While Iyabo admitted MC was his friend, she however denied never to have been involved in romantic affairs with the top transporter. On his side, Akinsanya tried not to join issues with Iyabo who is known to be controversial but he remained focused on seeking support for the re-election bid of Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as the governorship election is around the corner.
However, Akinsanya may have finally revealed his side of the romance story, as he’s made it clear, in a subtle manner though, that he once dated the actress. This came to the fore in the cause of him responding to birthday greetings as sent to him by Iyabo, on his birthday yesterday (14 March 2023).
Iyabo, in her message to Akinsanya, brought her Obidient status to consciousness as she penned down good wishes to the birthday boy, wishing him best in life and God’s blessing on his new age. Responding, Akinsanya, in his short message acknowledged Iyabo’s message, also emphasized his own status as BATist and certainly added a phrase “Ale mi igbakan” which simply refers and announces Iyabo as his ex-girlfriend.

Iyabo: “Happy birthday to my dear friend and padi for life, MC Oluomo, Ayinde mi owon, Gbade wolu 1, I’m OBEDIENTLY wishing you the very best in life & God bless your new age”
MC: “Ah! Thank you, àlè mi ìgbà kan. Waa ri BATISHE”.
