NAFDAC Approves Ghana’s Thorntina-74 Herbal Mixture for Nigerian Market

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has granted full approval for Thorntina-74 Herbal Mixture (T-74), one of Ghana’s leading natural wellness formulations, to be sold and distributed in Nigeria.

Produced by Diagnostic Herbal Industry (DHI) Ghana, the herbal mixture is popular for its immune-supporting and general wellbeing benefits. Before its arrival in Nigeria, T-74 enjoyed significant market success in Ghana, South Africa, and the United States.

The newly appointed Country Manager for Nigeria, Mr. Henry Seymour, described the approval as a major win for regional collaboration.
According to him:

“Ghana and Nigeria have always shared strong economic ties. With NAFDAC’s approval, we are bringing a trusted African product closer to millions of Nigerians who are embracing natural health solutions.”

He added that DHI Ghana will adopt a controlled distribution model using accredited agents to ensure product authenticity, proper pricing, and efficient market penetration.

Industry analysts believe the approval reinforces the rise of African-made wellness brands and will deepen cross-border collaboration between both countries.
