“Obidients” shun LP Candidate,  Endorse PDP Gov Candidate in  Akwa Ibom

Take Back Naija ( TBN) Akwa Ibom State Chapter has endorsed the governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno.

The endorsement was the highlight of an engaging leadership summit held today and attended by LGA chapter coordinators and TBN home cell coordinators.

The venue was filled to capacity with participants who were warmly introduced to the co-ordinators and some prominent personalities who graced the occasion.

In a statement signed by Mr. Martins Ukpong, ( Secretary, TBN, AKS Chapter) on behalf of Mr Bernard Titus ( Coordinator TBN, AKS/South-South Region), what could be described as the highest point of the event was the formal adoption of Pastor Umo Eno of the PDP as Take Back Naija Akwa Ibom State Chapter gubernatorial candidate by the state executives and LGA coordinators present at the event.

According to the statement “We pledge to play by the rules and make sure we deliver on our mandate to ensure we vote for Umo Eno as Governor of Akwa Ibom State come 2023.

It may however be of interest to know that the action of TNB to throw its weight behind the governorship candidate of PDP, Uno Eno, is at the detriment of the Labour Party governorship candidate in Akwa-Ibom, Joseph Isaiah Akpabio.

Take Back Nigeria, TBN, a group founded to root for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, which by that virtue its members are “Obidients” would have expected to support the Labour Party governorship candidate and not any other party.
