Senator Monday Okpebholo has won the Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election.
Okpebholo gathered 12,433 votes to defeat Dennis Idahosa, who got 6,541 votes and was declared the winner by the Chairman of the Edo Governorship Primary Election Committee, Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River, following the collation of the results from the 18 local government areas.
