The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo (SAN), has applauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the remarkable progress on the construction of the Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu Judiciary Complex in Akure.

Dr. Ajulo gave the commendation during a statewide inspection tour of courtrooms and justice-related office facilities. The visit, he explained, was part of an ongoing assessment of the state’s judicial infrastructure to identify areas needing urgent government attention and intervention.

A statement from Mr. Yomisaint Adebayo, Technical Adviser to the Attorney General, noted that Dr. Ajulo personally led the tour to obtain first-hand information on the condition of facilities and to carry out on-site evaluations.

The Attorney General emphasized the urgency of the inspection in light of the ongoing rainy and windy season, which could potentially expose structural weaknesses in the buildings.

At the Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu Judiciary Complex, which is still under construction, Dr. Ajulo commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his commitment to completing the project. He described the complex as a landmark initiative that reflects the state government’s dedication to strengthening the justice system and creating a conducive working environment for judicial officers and legal practitioners.

“When completed, this complex will serve not only as a functional judicial facility but also as a symbol of the administration’s respect for the rule of law and justice delivery,” he said.

Dr. Ajulo’s tour is expected to influence strategic decisions in the justice sector, particularly in areas needing immediate upgrades and modernization.
