PHOTOS: Tinubu receives Theophilus Danjuma at State House

President Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, received Theophilus Danjuma, retired lieutenant-general and former minister of defence, during a courtesy visit at the State House in Abuja.

Details of the visit to the president has not been made public.

Danjuma, 87, is a former chief of army staff and served as minister of defence between 1999 and 2003 under the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The visit comes days after Agbu Kefas, governor of Taraba, dismissed rumours of a rift between him and Danjuma following his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
