Residents of Kano State trooped out in their thousands to give the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, an unforgettable reception on Wednesday.
Kano is the most populous in Nigeria’s north west region and is the first to host the APC candidate this year.
What a spectacular mega rally!
According to witnesses, there were more people outside the Sani Abacha Stadium, than inside.
It took the motorcade of the APC candidate three hours to reach the stadium, with many VIPs unable to wade through the throngs of supporters.
Kano had not seen such humongous crowd since President Muhammadu Buhari’s rallies in 2015 and 2019 when people filled the stadium, to the rafters.
Asiwaju Tinubu, who was very impressed by the turnout thanked the people, by saying in Hausa: “Mungode, Mungode” and promising to serve them and Nigeria.
