Having conquered in the business world, well-built oil dealer who is the founder of flourishing Capital Oil and & Gas , Ifeayin Patrick Uba, decided to test his strength on the political turf and as such identified with a political party.  His deep pocket and the name he has made in the business world readily paved way for him that he immediately began to hobnob with top politicians.

His first shot at an elective office which was on the platform of Labor Party was targeted at the governorship seat of Anambra state, but the effort ended a futile one. He repeated the same shot under PDP in the last governorship election but the same fate befell him as his as aspiration could not scale hurdle of the primaries level. In his quest to beef up his profile with the status of a public office holder, Ifeayin, in the little spate of time he’s signed for partisan politics, he’s had to identify with camps at different times and mingle with different set of people with various sets of ideologies.

The last may not have been heard of Ifeayin as far as his desperate thirst for power is concerned, as he may have settled for chasing a senatorial dream since his governorship ambition has repeatedly failed.  As it is, the controversial dude seems to have started preparing ground for battle to contest for a senatorial seat even as he has Senator Andy Uba, who presently occupies the position to contend with to see his dream come through. He has this time pitched his tent with All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, to chase the mandate to represent Anambra South senatorial district, come 2019.
