RCCG builds 14-floor towers, to donate N2bn rental income to charity

The City of David Church of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has built a commercial and leisure 14-floors building, named Trinity Towers in Lagos State.
Trinity Towers is located at Omirin in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.
The building, which has three towers (South, Middle, and North Towers), has been said to be the first tri-tower and first commercial building with the highest lift per square meterage.
Speaking on the construction of the building, an official of one of the brokerage firms, Estate Links, Mr. Gbenga Olaniyan, said Trinity Towers was constructed to generate income that would enable the church to carry out its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.
Olaniyan stated that the church has a CSR project with a rental income of N2 billion per annum, adding that the fund would be donated to charity.
“As a building that offers prestige and value, key companies in Nigeria and beyond have started taking the commercial spaces even during the early construction stage.
“Currently, the building offers short and long leases on the available commercial spaces, A-class restaurant, and food court,” he added.
Trinity towers has 14 lifts, retail shops on the ground and upper floors.
The building has several other features which include a multi-storey car park on split levels for approximately 673 cars, gymnasium and wellness centre, medical centre, recreation zone, ATM gallery, 4,500 seater concert hall, rooftop terrace, helipad, automated and integrated lighting, sound and video system, electric car chargers and smart access control, tenant-dedicated external garden terraces protected by a lattice framework, among others.
