Mr. Akinwumi Sowore has filed a petition against Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District.
The petition which was dated and received September 2021 reported certain activities of Senator Nicholas Tofowomo.
According to details revealed in the suit, it was stated that, On Saturday 21st June 2021 Senator Nicholas Tofowomo had hypnotized youths who are suspected party Delegates for the forthcoming Senatorial Primaries.
He was accused of feeding the hypnotized youths with ritual concussions with water from car radiator. The alleged occultic act according to an account of eye witness was said to be meant to place the victims under oath with a sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira each sent to their account as further inducement to coerce them for the support of his second term bid.
The Akinwumi Sowore prayed that the court immediately arrest the accused and that he should be prosecuted in the court of law by the Attorney General of the Federation
