Soldiers arrest TikTok bandits promoter, Sule Yellow
The Nigerian military has arrested a suspected bandit known as Sule Yellow, who used the TikTok handle @suleyellow6 to promote activities of terrorists.
According to a report shared by @mobilisingniger on X on Monday, the suspect was taken into custody shortly after he allegedly collected ransom from the family of a kidnapped victim.
Before his arrest, Sule Yellow had been very active on TikTok, showcasing the activities of bandits.
On March 4, he reportedly appeared on a livestream alongside another suspected bandit identified as Auta and others.
Sources said security operatives tracked his activities before moving in to arrest him.
After the arrest, authorities also disabled the TikTok account linked to him.
“The Nigerian Military arrests a notorious bandit Sule Yellow after collecting ransom payment from the victim’s family,” the post stated.
It added that “the security forces have since disabled his account after the arrest was made.”
