Yayi keeps another promise, announces completion of Olomu–Ososun road in Ogun
The Ogun State APC governorship candidate for the 2027 election, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has announced the completion and delivery of the Olomu–Ososun Road in Constituency 1, Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
Yayi disclosed this in a post on his X page on Sunday, describing the project as another fulfilled promise aimed at easing transportation and improving the living conditions of residents in the affected communities.
“Before our intervention, the road was in a terrible state, making movement difficult, disrupting economic activities and creating serious challenges for motorists, traders and residents of the surrounding communities,” he said.
He said the reconstruction had restored accessibility and improved connectivity, making daily movement easier and safer for residents and other road users.
“Today, we have changed that narrative through the successful reconstruction of this important road, restoring accessibility, improving connectivity and making daily movement easier and safer for our people,” Yayi stated.
The senator said good roads remained essential to economic growth, community development and improved living standards, adding that infrastructure projects should address the needs of residents.
“The completion of the Olomu–Ososun Road is another demonstration of our commitment to delivering practical solutions and meaningful development across Ogun State,” he said.
Yayi added that his development agenda focused on delivering tangible projects rather than making promises.
“For us, development is not merely about making promises; it is about delivering projects that improve lives and transform communities. We remain committed to doing more,” he said.
